Boarding Incidentals…
$ 30 per month for daily Fly Mask on/off.
$ 5 Blanketing fee. To have your horse’s blanket changed out, or to have a muddy horse groomed and re-blanketed, per occurrence.
• No Charge - Removal of your horse’s winter blanket
During winter months, if the temperature moderates, with both high humidity and low winds, blankets may need to be removed in order to keep your horse from sweating. Wind speed is an important factor. If wind speeds are high, blankets may stay on. REMINDER- When a horse’s blanket is removed, it leaves the coat flat, making the horse vulnerable to the cold. A blanket cannot be put on a horse that has rolled in the mud. This gives you the option of grooming/ blanketing your horse yourself when the weather turns cold, or paying a small service fee for blanketing and grooming.
Phone in, or text the evening before, to have your horse’s blanket removed the following morning.
Pre-Authorize blanket removal – Stable management will be given instructions to always remove your horse’s blanket when the lesson horses have theirs removed.
Payment…
• First month’s board prorated
• Board due on the 1st of each month
• Board/Leasing Late Payment fee (rec’d after 5th of the month) $ 5 per day, due with payment
• NSF/Returned Check Fees $ 35 + Any Bank Charges
• Attention – You must give a 30 day notice when vacating stall
Emergencies –
Needing emergency care is very rare at RBS – since our opening in 2000, RBS has ZERO incidences of equine hospitalization, ZERO cases of founder, ZERO needs for colic surgeries. We are very proud of this fact
Health info, for owners new to horses...
• Vaccinations and fecal exam administered by a veterinarian, average $120.00 to $180.00. Dental care, varies by horse, float teeth averages $170. Additional veterinary services are rare due to the personal attention given to each horse daily.
• Hoof trimming averages every 8 weeks and costs $40.00 to trim, $80 for shoes if wanted. If your horse is quiet, cooperative, you do not need to be present for hoof trimming when using the stable farrier.

Founder’s Notes
Having boarded my show horse from 1979 - 1999 before our family began Rocky Branch, I, over time became very aware of what worked, and of course what didn't. Haviing been "a client" has shaped every aspect of RBS into not just a home for your horse but a place to enjoy spending your day.
